Toyota Hiace New Generation Ambulance – GCC

Paramed International delivered a solar-powered Toyota Hiace ambulance for emergency care across the GCC region. Built to reduce fuel use and eliminate engine idling, the vehicle pairs roof-mounted solar panels with digital diagnostic equipment for modern field operations.

The roof-mounted solar setup charges onboard batteries to power medical systems, lighting, and climate control while the vehicle is parked. Inside, a CAN-BUS digital interface allows the crew to manage power distribution and medical devices from a single central screen.

The patient cabin includes an onboard oxygen generator, dual backup oxygen cylinders, and full diagnostic monitoring, including 12-lead ECG capabilities. An integrated camera streams live video and patient data directly to hospital staff, enabling real-time pre-diagnosis during transit.

Project Highlights:

  • Solar-assisted power setup for auxiliary equipment and reduced idling
  • CAN-BUS digital control system for central power and equipment management
  • Onboard oxygen generator with dual high-pressure backup cylinders
  • Complete diagnostic package with patient monitoring and 12-lead ECG
  • Integrated video streaming system for live hospital pre-diagnosis

This project demonstrates Paramed International’s technical capability to integrate solar power and digital care systems into compact emergency medical vehicles.
