Paramed International delivered a custom Mobile Blood Donation Unit to support public health programs and community outreach across the Dominican Republic. Designed as a mobile clinic, this vehicle allows healthcare teams to run safe, hygienic blood collection drives directly within local communities.
The interior layout separates donor registration, health screening, and blood donation into clear, easy-to-navigate spaces. Powerful air conditioning and washable anti-bacterial wall panels keep the patient compartment sterile, cool, and comfortable for donors and healthcare staff during field operations in hot climates.
The vehicle is fitted with professional donor couches, secure blood storage refrigeration, internal power backup systems, and bright LED task lighting to keep medical equipment running reliably off-grid.
Project Highlights:
- Mobile blood donation clinic built for community health outreach
- Air-conditioned interior with separate screening and donation spaces
- Washable anti-bacterial wall panels and slip-resistant flooring
