Paramed International launched a custom maritime ambulance to expand emergency care across coastal and offshore waters in the United Arab Emirates. Presented to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Dubai International Boat Show, the vessel provides medical teams with a fast, reliable platform for open-water rescue and marine evacuations.
Engineered for swift, stable travel in unpredictable Gulf waters, the hull design minimizes vessel motion during patient treatment. High-capacity marine climate control keeps the medical cabin cool and climate-regulated during extended offshore deployments in severe heat.
The medical-grade interior cabin is equipped with complete life-support systems, integrated oxygen delivery, medical suction units, and secure storage for emergency supplies. The ergonomic layout allows paramedics to treat patients safely and effectively during transport in rough seas.
Highlights:
- Fast-response hull design for open-water medical evacuations
- Marine-grade HVAC climate control system built for extreme weather
- Integrated life-support systems and onboard medical equipment
- Medical cabin layout optimized for paramedic safety in rough seas
- Waterproof, washable interior surfaces with secure equipment storage
This project demonstrates Paramed International’s technical capability to design and manufacture specialized waterborne ambulances for coastal emergency medical services.
